Our business loans may assist individuals looking to:

• Start a business - Turn a business idea into reality
• Purchase a business - Acquire an existing business
• Expand a business - Grow or improve current operations
• Transition a business - Support a change in business ownership

Our team can help you explore your options and guide you through the loan application process.

Are you Eligible?

Applicants should:

• Be a new, existing, expanding or succession business
• Show that the business is economically viable
• Have a reasonable owner investment
• Be located in, or provide economic benefit to, the local Community Futures Cariboo Chilcotin service area

Prefer a Paper Application?

Paper applications are also available. Contact our office to request an application or for assistance with the process.

Once your application is received, a Business Analyst will review it and contact you to discuss your project and the next steps.

Appeal Process

4-H Youth Loans

Community Futures Cariboo Chilcotin has proudly supported local 4-H members since 2000 through the 4-H Youth Loan Program. Since its inception, the program has administered 297 loans totaling more than $448,200, helping young people gain valuable business experience while developing financial management, responsibility, and entrepreneurial skills.

Eligible 4-H members may apply for loans of up to $3,500 to purchase market livestock, including:

• Beef
• Swine
• Sheep

Eligibility

• Projects must be located within the Community Futures Cariboo Chilcotin service area
• Applicants must be members in good standing with a recognized 4-H organization
